The Liberty Sports Hall of Fame Committee is currently soliciting donors and pledges to support Liberty’s first-ever Capital Campaign.  As state funds are minimal for public education, a 21st century school system needs to fund raise in order to provide the co-curricular facilities that enhances a student’s education.  An aggressive campaign is underway to raise money to build an 8-lane, all-weather track, a band shell, and to renovate the Block House as it hasn’t received any maintenance since it was built in the early 80’s.  Research supports that co-curricular activities are an essential and critical learning component to a well-rounded education and students deserve facilities that can support those learning opportunities.  It’s our hope that Liberty alumni, along with Liberty business owners and community partners and families, will join to achieve this goal.  If you wish to see how you can get involved or make a pledge, please email Elaine Jacobs, Liberty Sports Hall of Fame President, at for more information.
